Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of RainTech's talent platform, recruitment services, and related technology (the "Services"). By creating a profile or submitting your data, you confirm you are 18 or older, have read these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and agree to be bound by them.

Eligibility

The Services are open to technology professionals of any nationality who are based in Indonesia or who wish to be considered for Indonesia-based remote roles. Inclusion in our talent database is not an employment offer or guarantee of placement.

Our Services

RainTech maintains a talent database to match candidates with open roles at foreign technology companies. We charge a placement fee to the hiring company — candidates are never charged. Where a candidate is placed, RainTech may act as the formal Employer of Record under Indonesian law, serving as the legal employer for statutory purposes while you work under the client company's direction. We use AI-assisted tools to help with screening and matching, but all placement decisions involve human review.

Your Profile

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information and to keep your profile current. By submitting your data, you grant RainTech a non-exclusive licence to store, process, and share it with prospective employers for recruitment purposes. This licence ends when you ask us to delete your data, except where we are required by law to retain it. RainTech may remove profiles that contain false or misleading information.

Consent to Data Processing

By registering your profile or ticking the consent checkbox on our intake form, you consent to:

• Storage of your data in RainTech's talent database, processed via our authorised technology platforms.
• AI-assisted screening and scoring of your profile against current and future openings.
• Proactive outreach by RainTech recruiters to present relevant opportunities.
• Sharing of your shortlisted profile with a named client company for a specific role, subject to prior notice to you.
• Transfer of your data to RainTech's authorised processors, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• For overseas nationals: transfer of your data to Indonesia and processing under Indonesian law.

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at the email in the Privacy Policy. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

Representations

By using the Services, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, that you hold the qualifications and experience stated in your profile, and that your participation does not violate any law or agreement you are bound by. RainTech may remove your profile and terminate any active process if this is found to be untrue.

No Guarantee of Employment

Being in our talent database does not guarantee consideration for any role, receipt of an offer, or placement on any particular timeline. Final hiring decisions rest solely with the client company.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications
• Solicit RainTech's client companies directly, bypassing RainTech
• Attempt unauthorised access to any part of the platform
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools on the platform
• Share your login credentials with anyone

Violations may result in removal from the talent database and, where unlawful, referral to the appropriate authorities.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and technology on RainTech's website and platforms belong to RainTech and its technology partners. You retain ownership of your submitted content and grant RainTech only the limited licence described in Section 4.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RainTech excludes all warranties and all liability arising from your use of the Services — including loss of income or opportunity, acts or decisions of any client company, third-party service provider failures, and AI screening inaccuracies. Nothing in these Terms creates any obligation on RainTech's part to compensate any candidate. Any claim must be brought within 6 months of the event giving rise to it.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify RainTech against any claims, losses, and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your submission of false information, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. We will post the updated version on our website and notify active talent database members by email before changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after that date means you accept the changes.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
